Our Stories Our Voices Youth Arts Council

This program is for our 7-12th Grade students and is all year round. The OSOV Youth Arts Council for grades 7-12 is for students who want a more in-depth look into multiple arts disciplines. Students will participate in masterclasses and learn from professional artists. They will experience live performances, and be exposed to local, national, and international arts and artists. Most importantly, students in the YAC will serve as World Stage Theatre ambassadors and help make artistic decisions that will best support other students. Being a part of the council will look good on your college application when applying to arts or other schools and groups. There is no charge to participate. However, only students in the Youth Arts Council will be able to participate in the OSOV summer arts excursion field trip.

Youth Arts Council Responsibilities:

• Attend at least 5 monthly meetings October 15- June 15

• Participate in masterclasses, workshops, performances, and community
